Maketoys Blindfire MTCM-03A

Maketoys Blindfire MTCM-03A: Part of the Maketoys Quantron set. The set of a representation of the Autobot Technobots and this one is particular is Strafe. Sizewise the bot is slightly smaller than a hasbro deluxe. Maketoys has its own style to its combiner series (currently 3 different ones are available) which is not slavish g1 one and more fitting to a chug collection. A very nice bot and alt mode. Maketoys also released a Limited Shattered Glass version of this mold

There are a few different configurations for storing the guns and blades.

The alt Mode is a nice looking fighter. The transparent guns can be connected above or below the sword

Alternatively you can mount the guns in place of the swords for a more G1 Look

and finally arm mode. These are not scramble city style combiners and as such Blindfire can only form an arm. The fist is a parts forming bit from Metalstorm. Sadly the single figure release has a problem with the leg pins. They have been assembled from the wrong side and you cannot connect the piston in arm mode

Maketoys Celeritas MTCM-03B

Maketoys Celeritas MTCM-03B: Part of the Maketoys Quantron set. Their representation of the Autobot Technobots. The second one on the set is a version of Lightspeed. Sizewise the bot is slightly smaller than a hasbro deluxe.

Parts of the wheels separate and form clips for the weapons. The Shoulders hinder articulation a bit on the is figure compared to the rest of the team. The legs and way they form as also quite strange with a large piece sticking up on either side.

Alt mode is a futuristic car and the weapons can be mount on the car alt mode in a reasonable way

Celeritas forms a leg for Quantron. The foot is part of Metalstorm and Celeritas connect very well. The middle is not so good though with two small transparent tabs from the legs which connect into the folded

Maketoys Metalstorm MTCM-03C

Maketoys Metalstorm MTCM-03C: Part of the Maketoys Quantron set. The leader and by far the largest of the set by a quite a margin and is a voyager sized. He is Maketoys version of Scattershot and comes with the combiners Feet and hands.

Alt mode is a large fighter

. The guns can be wing mounted. Additionally the feet can also be side mounted (not pictured)

Maketoys Overheat MTCM-03D

Maketoys Overheat MTCM-03D: The bike transformer of the group and other arm of Quantron. Based on Afterburner. He is orange

The gun and rockets can also form a hammer weapon

And arm mode. The rocket and weapons can attach under the fore arm in this configuration.

Maketoys Sonicdrill MTCM-03E

Maketoys Sonicdrill MTCM-03E: Sonicdrill aka nosecone. Definitely the poorest transformation of the set. The whole thing folds over on itself and it is not the most intuitive figure to put back together.

The drill can also be used as a hand held weapon

Also hidden in the treads are extra arms

Not a bad looking drilling machine though

Maketoys Quantron (Computron)

Maketoys Quantron: And Finally we have the 5 combined members of Quantron also known as Computron. A very sturdy combiner, about the same size as a hasbro combiner wars combiner. Fingers are individually articulated. Foot is on a ball joint. The front part of Metalstorm can be mounted on the back of Quantron which adds some needed depth to the figure, alternatively it can be used as a bow like weapon.

Now with added repro labels and I also found a use for Titans Return Stripe

Maketoys Re:Master MTRM-03 Hellfire (Inferno)

Maketoys Re:Master MTRM-03 Hellfire (Inferno): A design to fit in with a Masterpiece collection and transforms into a Fire Engine. Comes with 7 face plates with both matt and metallic blue eyes. These faces (but not the head) are shared with Maketoys Grapple
